Mission and Vision of SATO

The mission of State Agency Technical Operations (SATO) is to achieve through its statutory functions of providing and applying special intelligence means and preparing physical evidence for the needs of the criminal process, in cooperation with the competent State authorities, a state of the society and the country in which fundamental human rights and freedoms, territorial integrity, State independence and sovereignty are protected, and the democratic functioning of the State and the civil institutions is secured.  

The vision for the development of the organizational culture and capacity of SATO takes into account the dynamics of the security environment and is in line with the Agency's mission, seeking an optimal allocation of resources to achieve effective management, operation and control, ensuring sustainability of the established best practices for all processes and activities, creating conditions for organizational self-improvement.
